Cook Children’s Health Care System is expanding into Prosper by bringing a new pediatric hospital to the area. The hospital will be located on 23 acres at the intersection of Windsong Parkway and Highway 380, according to a release from the organization. Developer Billingsley Co. has started work on the first two buildings in a new Plano office campus. The project is near the northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Bush Turnpike in the International Business Park. 10-story Japanese luxury hotel coming to former J.C. Penney campus in Plano

A Japanese luxury hotel group plans to build a Miyako Hotel at Plano’s Campus at Legacy West development, northwest of where Legacy Drive meets the southern end of the Corporate Drive loop. The 10-story, 250-room hotel will be located on the property’s pond, where developers are planning to build a boardwalk and surrounding offices and retail.
