GUESS WHO'S THE NO. 1 BUSINESS FRIENDLY CITY IN THE US

Dallas earned bragging rights for having the highest overall business friendly score out of the nation's 100 most populated cities, according to MarketWatch.com. Rankings were based on three categories: economic outcome (Dallas scored 648 out of 750 points), company performance (562 out of 800) and business climate (478 out of 800) totaling 1,687 points. San Francisco came in second with 1,665 and Seattle came in third with 1,651. CBRE vice chairman Jeff Ellerman (right, with colleague Phil Puckett) tells us employers are drawn to Dallas because of its pro-business attitude, Central time zone, affordable and quality standard of living, no state income tax and proximity to an international airport. Not to mention the strong, diverse labor pool. (And might we add keen ability to match orange hats to shirts.)
