David began his real estate career in 1999 with NAI/Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell Commercial in Fort Worth. He was employed by Henry S. Miller Commercial in their Great Southwest office from 2001 until the summer of 2003. He then joined Skinner Commercial Realty & Associates, Inc., as Vice President of Brokerage Services. In August 2011 David founded David D. Martin Commercial Real Estate, L.L.C., a full-service, commercial real estate company. In August 2015 David joined Capstone Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc. as Senior Vice President.

Mr. Martin has represented buyers, sellers, developers, landlords, tenants, and investors in the areas of office, industrial, land, retail, multi-family, farm & ranch, and investment properties. David specializes in commercial property acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, tenant representation, and investments in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, but has also served clients on a national level.

Mr. Martin has integrated his extensive business acumen, market knowledge, and proven negotiation skills to not only successfully research property, but also market it, finalize the contracts and report such activity in a consistent and timely manner on behalf of a wide variety of clients. His professionalism and tenacity in the pursuit of client objectives sets him apart from his competition.

Professionally, David is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. which enables him to stay on the leading edge of market trends.

Mr. Martin received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and his Master of Business Administration Degree from Texas Wesleyan University. While completing his undergraduate and graduate work, David served as an officer in several organizations including President of the Graduate Business Student Association, Vice President of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Professional Fraternity.

Mr. Martin has served on the Board of Directors for the North Central Texas Alzheimer’s Association. Past President of the Texas Wesleyan University Alumni Association Board of Directors, Texas Wesleyan University President’s Council, and The University of Texas at Arlington’s Liberal Arts Deans Advisory Council. He is a Past District Governor for District 25 Toastmasters International.

David is married with one daughter and is very active within his community, church, and daughter’s school.
