StartFragmentEbby Halliday Acers, Dallas’ Queen Mum of residential real estate, died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday evening, surrounded by friends and family. She was 104 years old.

“Like everything in life, Ebby did it her way,” said Randall Graham, her long-time associate and member of Ebby Halliday’s executive leadership.

Born Vera Lucille Koch in the small town of Leslie, Ark. on March 9, 1911, she took on the professional name of Ebby Halliday and moved to Big D in 1938.
