Land purchases complete for big Frisco project

A Frisco family has completed the sale of land for a major mixed-use development.

Atlanta-based Thomas Land & Development purchased the 175 acres on the Dallas North Tollway at Lebanon Road from Frisco's Wade family.

The last of the land purchases have been completed, broker Newman Real Estate said Monday,

Thomas land has announced plans on the property for a $1.6 billion mixed-use development called Wade Park.

The first phase of the project is scheduled to open next year.

Wade Park is plannaed to contain a Whole Foods Market grocery store, Hotel Zaza, Langham Hotels, iPic Theatres, Pinstripes Bowling, high-end restaurants, retail, entertainment, offices and residential buildings. Read more
