About North Collin County Habitat for Humanity® – North Collin County Habitat for Humanity (NCC Habitat) is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles. We put God’s love into action by building homes and communities. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide. We encourage positive relationships throughout the community by advocating for fair housing policies and by providing training to help families improve their shelter conditions.NCC Habitat was incorporated in 1992 with the original name of McKinney Habitat for Humanity, Inc. In 2002, we changed our name to North Collin County Habitat for Humanity to reflect our expanding service area. We enable families throughout northern Collin County (Anna, Celina, Blueridge, Farmersville, Frisco, McKinney, Melissa, Princeton, Prosper, Westminster, and Weston) to achieve the dream of home ownership and dignity. With the help of partnerships, NCC Habitat is working to build its 100th home! Our open-door policy: Everyone who believes that people deserve decent, affordable places to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that often divide people. We welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and we serve people in need of housing regardless of their race or religion. As a matter of policy, Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. This means that we do not offer assistance with an implied condition that people adhere or convert to a particular faith.
