Ebby Halliday's Farmers Branch headquarters growing with major lease

For years, Ebby Halliday's head office was in the little white house on Northwest Highway in Dallas. The company moved its headquarters to Sigma Road in Farmers Branch in 1983.

North Texas' biggest real estate sales firm is expanding its headquarters.

Ebby Halliday Realtors has leased office space next to its headquarters at 4441 Sigma Road in Farmers Branch.

The 15,000-square-foot office expansion is in the building next door to the real estate firm's longtime headquarters.

"We are going to have a new training facility and move our marketing and education departments," said Ebby Halliday CEO Mary Frances Burleson. "Our marketing has grown and we have classes all the time, and we need the space." Show Full Story

Ebby Halliday has had its head office in the 20,000-square-foot building at 4455 Sigma Road since 1983.

Before that, the largest locally owned independent real estate sales firm was in Preston Center in North Dallas.

Of course, Ebby Halliday is best known for its original office in the little white house on Northwest Highway. Built in the 1920s, the building originally housed the City Hall for the little town of Preston Hollow.

Ebby Halliday is renovating the newly leased office space in Farmers Branch and plans to move into the property in December.

Larry Robbins and Steve Burris of Capstone Commercial negotiated the lease with Jefflyn Williamson of Jefflyn Properties.
