Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway to purchase Ebby Halliday, portfolio of brands

Ebby Halliday announced Monday it will be acquired by a subsidiary of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway.
Minneapolis' HomeServices of America will purchase the North Texas-based real estate company’s three brands: Ebby Halliday, REALTORS and Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, both based in Dallas, as well as Williams Trew Real Estate, headquartered in Fort Worth. Ebby Halliday and its brands will continue to function under their current brand names, according to a news release.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In 2015, HomeServices of America purchased Allie Beth Allman & Associates, a luxury real estate company also based in Dallas.
