Addison redevelopment bringing new urban neighborhood

A homebuilder known for its urban residential projects in North Texas is building a new neighborhood in Addison.

InTown Homes is constructing 170 townhouses in its new Addison Grove project on Belt Line Road near Midway.

The two- and three-bedroom townhomes will be priced from the mid-$300,000s and will be constructed in the style of brick row houses.

The townhouses and three small parks join an apartment and retail building on the way at the property.

"Addison is the perfect place to call home because of the thriving urban community and direct access to many of the major attractions in the D-FW area," InTown Homes' Dana Green said. "I'm certain that Addison Grove will be one the most sought-after communities in Addison."

Houston-based InTown Homes has been building in the Dallas area for almost a decade. The company started with a large project in downtown's farmers market district, then expanded to multiple locations.

The builder currently has eight communities in the Dallas area, including locations in Plano, Oak Cliff and in the medical district near Maple Avenue.

The first of the new Addison houses will be ready this summer. "We just put our signs up, and we had about 10 inquiries over the weekend," Green said.

He said the Addison project is one of the company's largest North Texas developments.
