10-story Japanese luxury hotel coming to former J.C. Penney campus in Plano
A Japanese luxury hotel group plans to build a Miyako Hotel at Plano’s Campus at Legacy West development, northwest of where Legacy Drive meets the southern end of the Corporate Drive loop. The 10-story, 250-room hotel will be located on the property’s pond, where developers are planning to build a boardwalk and surrounding offices and retail. The hotel is part of Dreien Opportunity Partners’ efforts to redevelop the office headquarters formerly owned by J.C. Penney Co. www.dreien.com
