Office campus coming to $1B development in Frisco

Invest Group Overseas, the Dubai-based owner of The Gate development in Frisco, is partnering with a Minneapolis firm to bring a new office campus to the project. According to the Dallas Morning News, Ryan Cos. and Invest Group Oversea will construct Auspire, which will encompass three office buildings totaling more than 900,000 square feet. The Dallas area’s tech prowess pushed it ahead of some longtime rivals in a new report — though it failed to come out on top in Texas. The region took No. 6 among U.S. metropolitan areas, according to the 2018 “Tech Town Index” from CompTIA, or the Computing Technology Industry Association. Companies continue to snap up office space at Frisco Station, with planning and design consulting firm Kimley-Horn inking a 32,349-square-foot lease. Altair Global plans to move its corporate headquarters from the Legacy business park in West Plano to the Hall Park office campus in Frisco.
